Jesse Redwing
Jesse Redwing
Jesse Redwing grew up on punk, found inspiration in the likes of Peter Green, John Mayall, Eric Burdon, Eric Clapton and the Stones, then took a step back to "the real shit": Chess Records, Howlin’ Wolf, Muddy Waters, Little Walter, Buddy Guy and Willie Dixon. "I wasn’t born to the blues, but it found me somehow and now there’s no turning back," he says.

2016 was a big year for Redwing, signing a worldwide publishing deal with Big Deal/Mushroom Music and having his song Crawlin Up The Walls featured in hit Netflix series "Shooter".

Redwing's real, raw, punk-tinged blues is a live experience to behold, and producer Stephen Mowat has proved himself capable of capturing their explosive energy on tape.

Studio recordings have so far come in the form of high energy singles Comin' On and Crawlin' Up The Walls & Round It Goes - the latter recently launched at a packed Brighton Up Bar - and there's a full-length album set to see the light in early 2017.

A blues revival looks well-and-truly ready to kick off, and Redwing might just be the man to lead the congregation. Hallelujah.
Cigarette Barbies
Cigarette Barbies
Cigarette barbies began as a side project for Shawn Morones (AKA Jerry Queen), and over the years has grown into a six-piece rock and roll band including members of Travesura, The Wild Reeds, Cosmonauts, and Valley Queen. The music is some parts surf, and more parts nostalgia. Their live shows are full of untamed guitar solos, harmonies, and sparkly energy. Morones wrote the songs for their debut album "I'm Here All Night," in college, fueled by the curiosity of what it might be like inside his female friends minds, when it comes to life and love (hence his alter ego "Jerry Queen," seen on the cover of the record). They have since put out an EP of cover songs, thrown a prom, and played shows all over southern CA.
