Everything Is Terrible & Bootleg Theater Present:

The Manx - Malibu Slime record release show

with ACxDC, Cunts, Deaf Club

Bootleg Theater

Hosted by Everything is Terrible

Everything Is Terrible!, the shadowy psychedelic video and performance cult, is back on the road with a very special screening and live show! This one-night-only performance will feature classic EIT! videos and lots of unseen schlock presented with all new puppets and costumes! There is nothing like the Everything Is Terrible! live experience and it will change you forever! Don’t forget your Jerry Maguire VHS to sacrifice to the hive mind!

For the last 11 years Everything Is Terrible! has been responsible for some of the internet’s most hilarious and bizarre videos, including Yogi Ogi Dogi the creepy yoga farmer, Cat Massage, Pubic Hair Dying, the Yellow Dino who hunts pedophiles, and of course, the demi-child-god Duane. Beyond creating what CNN and the CBC called ‘The best site’, EIT! has also collected over 25,000 Jerry Maguire VHS that will one day live in a permanent pyramid in the desert. Their most recent movie, 2018’s The Great Satan, was called “a masterpiece’’ by Film Threat and The Chicago Reader.

The Manx

Everyone’s favorite blarba boys are back with a slick new album: MALIBU SLIME !!!

Produced by Toshi Kasai (The Melvins, Tool, Tweak Bird), this record features a fun slew of special musical guests- Justin Pearson (The Locust, Head Wound City, Dead Cross), Justin Roiland (Rick & Morty).

If you wanna slather some goo on your friends, just come on down to the beach, dude!

Hateful Goo music video -

ACxDC sound nothing like the Australian band they stole their name from.

“This is not a book in the ordinary sense of the word. No, this is a prolonged insult,

a gob of spit in the face of art, a kick in the pants to God, Man, Destiny, Time,

Love, Beauty... what you will. ” -Henry Miller, Tropic of Cancer

Cunts is an iteration of disgust, a statement of contempt. In an age when degrees

of absurdity are the only accurate unit of measure, Cunts stand defiantly in the

face of a declining civilization and thumb their collective nose. They have no use

for lofty ideology or half-cocked idealism. They do not seek your approval any

more than they need your permission; that is to say, not at all.

Comprised of Los Angeles scene vets Michael Crain (Festival Of Dead Deer/

Retox/Dead Cross), Sterling Riley (Hepa.Titus/Orphan Goggles), Keith

Hendrikson (Virginia Reed/Kill The Capulets), Kevin Avery (Retox/Planet B) and

Matt Cronk (Qui), Cunts is a band that requires no explanation. Since appearing

on the LA underground scene in early 2018, Cunts have earned a reputation for

their blistering and intense (and often violent) live shows. Equal parts catharsis

and blood-letting, Cunts as a live entity is an unapologetic display of rage and sex,

of beligerence and contempt, of body and soul.

Cuntsʼ self-titled debut will see release on Ipecac Recordings in the Fall of 2019.

Contained therein are 13 tracks of face-ripping violence; no slogans, no

manifestos, no appeals to the heart. The album stands as both score and tribute

to societyʼs imminent, self-inflicted collapse. Cunts are not here to uplift you, save

you, or hold your hand. Cunts are not beholden to the group-think mentality of

anyone or anything. Cunts do not care what you think.

Deaf Club

Fueled by the onslaught of society’s insanity and driven mad by tinnitus, Justin Pearson (The Locust, Dead Cross, Planet B), Brian Amalfitano (ACxDC) Scott Osment (Weak Flesh), Jason Klein (Run With The Hunted), and Leo Ulfelder (Fissure) approach music as an opportunity to confront our collective sickness. Deaf Club is a savage sound bath dripping with sardonicism: A blast-beat centric hardcore punk assault channeling crust, thrash, and grind (un)sensibilities.
