IS THERE VENUE PARKING? IS IT FREE?
There is ample street parking in the area and most restrictions end at 7:00 pm if not earlier. We also have a free lot at the church across the street on Beverly/Roselake within walking distance of the venue.
I’VE NEVER BEEN TO BOOTLEG THEATER BEFORE, DO I GET A SEAT OR IS IT GENERAL ADMISSION?
Most shows and events at Bootleg are general admission unless otherwise noted. All seating is first come first served.
HOW DO I STAY UP TO DATE ON SHOWS AT THE BOOTLEG THEATER?

IS BOOTLEG A NON-PROFIT?
At the heart of Bootleg is our non-profit theater company (Rampart Theater Project, Inc.). The non-profit Bootleg Theater produces, presents, supports and mentors the best of emerging and established Los Angeles performing artists. The for-profit Bootleg Theater manages the bar, music programming and overall venue and donates space to the non-profit for its programming needs.
HOW CAN I DONATE?
The theatrical programming is funded by grants, ticket sales and donations from excellent people like you. We accept donations to the 501(c)3 online, as well as through the mail. Checks can be made payable to Rampart Theater Project, Inc. and sent to 2220 Beverly Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90057
WHERE CAN I PURCHASE TICKETS?
You can purchase tickets online for all shows through our website. Keep up to date with Facebook and Twitter as well as our weekly mailing list for the latest announcements! Some shows will sell out in advance.
CAN I BUY TICKETS IN PERSON AT THE BOX OFFICE?
Unless the event is sold out or specified otherwise, tickets will be available for day-of-show pricing when doors open. The box office opens at the listed door time.
I’M ON THE GUEST LIST. HOW DO I GET IN?
Proceed to the box office as any other patron. Occasionally there will be a dictated line for Guest List and regular ticket holders. Be prepared to present a valid photo ID for admittance. Accepted forms of ID are current and non-expired: State Issued ID or Driver’s License, Military & Passport ID. No ID = no admission. No exceptions.
IF I DON’T HAVE A PHOTO ID, CAN I STILL GET IN THE VENUE?
You MUST be 21+ with Valid ID to enter the venue for music programming unless noted otherwise. Accepted forms of ID are current and non-expired: State Issued ID or Driver’s License, Military & Passport ID.
WHAT IS THE EARLIEST I CAN COME INTO THE VENUE? WHAT TIME DOES THE SHOW START?
Check your ticket or our website for door times. Door times are listed on every event page under the show date. Set times for our music programming are announced on our Instagram and Facebook approximately an hour prior to door times. Please note that the time listed on our website is the door time, not the show time, unless specified otherwise. We like to make sure our shows run on time/as posted, but set times are subject to change without notice. There are occasional nights that may fall behind schedule, but more often than not, shows will run as posted.
ARE THERE INS-AND-OUTS?
No, but we have an outdoor area in back to catch your breath.
ARE THERE ATMs AVAILABLE?
Yes, we have an ATM at the venue entrance. There is also an ATM at the laundromat across the street.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT ARE ACCEPTED AT THE BAR?
Cash and all major credit cards are accepted at the bar.
CAN I TAKE PHOTOS AND VIDEO?
Sure can, we encourage you to photograph and tag us on Instagram (#BootlegTheater)! Please note: No Photography during Theatrical Programming. Non-professional cameras are allowed in the venue as long as the performer/management has not specified otherwise to venue personnel. If you plan to shoot video, use a camera with a detachable lens. I AM A PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER AND WANT TO TAKE PHOTOS…
All professional cameras need to be approved in advance by the performer/venue. Please contact the artist you would like to photograph about getting a photo pass as it is the artist’s decision as to who they want photographing them. Same for press passes: please contact the artist’s label or publicist for this. Unfortunately, we cannot give you this contact information. IS THERE ANY GOOD FOOD AROUND THE BOOTLEG THEATER?
We fancy the inexpensive Cuban restaurant on Temple, Gigi’s as well as Tribal Cafe. Subway and El Burrito Panzon are in the mall at Beverly/Alvarado, Seafood Express down the block has Chinese food and the Original Tommy’s Burger at Beverly/Rampart is famous for chili dogs and burgers. McDonald’s, El Pollo Loco and Taco Bell are also within walking distance.
ARE THERE ANY HOTELS NEARBY?
There are a number of hotels and motels in the nearby area in Downtown LA, Silverlake, Echo Park, and Downtown.
